My name is Simran Kaur Gill, and I joined Apex Physiotherapy in 2025 as a Medical Office Assistant in Surrey.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from India and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management in Canada. I bring hands-on, patient-focused experience in fast-paced physiotherapy clinics, supporting front-desk operations, therapist coordination, and high standards of clinical administration.
In my role, I welcome patients, complete registrations and documentation, manage appointment scheduling, confirmations and follow-ups, and maintain accurate and confidential patient records. I also assist patients with insurance and extended health benefit inquiries and clearly explain clinic procedures so they feel informed and comfortable.
I focus on creating a calm, friendly and supportive experience for every patient, especially those who may be in pain or feeling anxious about their treatment. I work closely with physiotherapists to ensure smooth patient flow, clear communication, and a well-organized, professional clinic environment.
