Deepak is a physiotherapist with a lot of compassion and empathy for his patients. He treats using the latest evidence-based approach using extensive manual therapy and acupuncture skills.
He completed his BSc(H) Physical Therapy from Delhi University in 2002 and Masters of Physiotherapy in Osteomyology in 2004 with a gold medalist ranking. He started his practice by working in a multispecialty hospital in New Delhi, treating both inpatients and outpatients for various orthopaedic conditions, and providing cardiac, neurological and joint replacement rehabilitation. He also worked as a guest lecturer and examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy students in various universities across northern India. In 2008, he joined a multidisciplinary chronic pain clinic in Surrey, British Columbia, gaining valuable and in-depth knowledge about management and strategies of treating chronic pain.
Over the years he continued to learn and implement various manual therapy approaches and techniques like McKenzie and Mulligans’ to further excel his hands on approach. He also holds special interest and completed advanced training in treating concussion patients, TMJ disorders and vestibular rehabilitation. Deepak also conducts assessments for custom foot orthotics and fitness evaluations for occupational testing. He has also finished his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018 to take his joint manipulation and assessment skills to the highest level. He continues to provide mentoring to interim physiotherapists working in the clinic.
In his leisure time he enjoys travelling, spending time with his family, yoga, meditation and gardening.
